AGEMERA partners go to Alicante for EUROCK 2024

AGEMERA partners go to Alicante for EUROCK 2024

Our Polish colleagues lost no time this summer - in fact, they took part in two major events in July where they presented our work on data processing, fusion, and sharing (data that we collected in our field work)

Between 29 June and 8 July, dr. Piotr Mertuszka joined the SGEM 2024 event (the XXIVth International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference Surveying, Geology and Mining, Ecology and Management). He delivered a presentation on the identification of areas that are prone to seismic activity occurence using 3D FEM numerical simulations.

Then, on 15-19 July 2024, our colleagues from KGHM CUPRUM and KGHM Polska Miedź S.A presented the project results at one of the largest European conferences in the field of rock mechanics: EUROCK 2024. Dr. Krzysztof Fuławka conducted a presentation with the title "3D large-scale numerical modelling of room and pillar underground excavation in light of in-situ geomechanical measurement".

We are grateful for such esteemed representation and already looking forward to a busy autumn calendar!
