AGEMERA conducts dissemination event in Zambia
The project team prepared a final result showcase for key players in the industry in Lusaka
The power of manifestation: while we don't exactly believe in things going our way and wishes being granted solely because we believed in them, something did indeed feel like magic once we realised we were able to turn our dream - hosting a workshop in Lusaka - into reality this June!
Thanks to Marko Holma's coordination efforts and the local support and guidance we received from Dr. Cryton Phiri and his team at the University of Zambia, we could present our project results, explain how they support responsible mineral exploration of critical raw materials in Africa, and emphasise once more how invaluable global cooperation is when it comes to resource optimisation and sustainable development!
We had experts from the mining sector in Europe and Zambia join our event, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Mining in Zambia, the Embassy of Finland in Lusaka, and the Association of Women in Mining in Africa. Our gratitude goes out to our in-person and online guests for their interest in the project and the future of the minerals sector in Africa and globally.
