AGEMERA featured in the University of Zagreb exhibition
As we are collaborating with the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering in our consortium, one of our colleagues from there took the chance to present AGEMERA in the University's exhibition
One of our goals with AGEMERA is to raise awareness of critical raw materials: what they are, how they are identified and sourced, and what role they play in our lives. And the easiest way to do so might be through live interaction, by meeting and discussing with people, answering their questions and curiosities, and providing some background to why we do what we do.
We had the opportunity to do exactly that between 9 and 11 November, on the occasion of the exhibition organised by the University of Zagreb. Anamarija Grbes took part in the exhibition on behalf of the Faculty of Mining, Geology, and Petroleum Engineering (our partner in the project) and promoted AGEMERA to current and future students, as well as to their families and colleagues from the University's 31 faculties.
The event, which saw around 30,000 visitors, a significant number, gave us the chance to explain the innovative methods we use in AGEMERA (and the other trending methods used nowadays in geophysics), including drones and cosmic rays. The guests had great conversations with Ana on mining, circular economy, and our responsibility to protect the environment and focus more on sustainability for the green transition.
We hope to have inspired the younger generations to learn more about critical raw materials and bring their contribution to a green future!
