  1. Welcoming words and the goal of the event.

  2. Introduction to the topic by MSc Henri Suomalainen 
    (Specialist at TalTech Department of Geology, Division of Mineral Resources and Applied Geology). 

    Topics: Global challenges driving mineral demand, the role of minerals in everything from construction to food production, mining methods and their environmental/social impacts, the role of circular economy and recycling, and the need of raw materials for green transition.

  3. Presentation by PhD Tony Hand (Sustainable Mining Project Manager at TalTech Department of Geology). 

    Topics: Value chain, supply chain, Critical Raw Materials Act, Rare Earth Elements, Battery Raw Materials, 
and Social Licences.

  4. Interactive E-Learning Workshop: Explore the fascinating world of metals and minerals by pairing them with everyday objects like the fork.
